CHAPTER 13 - In chapter 13 Mina & Anna wake up in the middle of the night
& find a panther then papa tries to shoot it . But It runs away and does
not come back to there camp spot. In the morning they Finally come to New Braufels.
Then they find a ferry on the other side of the river.
CHAPTER 14 - In the morning they ride across the ferry. The next day was her eleventh
birthday . Mina & Anna go to gather nuts , when they see an indian . Anna runs away
screaming . Then Mina makes a trade with him ( Her hair for his blue beaded belt). And
Mina tells her father.
CHAPTER 15 - They come to indians and soilders fighting over a bear they both killed
at the same time. But when Mina comes up to the same indian , him and his tribe
leave . And the soilders keep the bear.

In chapter 19 papa is still sick so Mina gets her neighbors to watch over papa so that she can go to the indian camp and get help from the indian in her dream to help papa. She saw Amaya and saw the chief ( Amayas dad).
ReplyDeleteIn chapter 20 Custaleta was going into Minas house to give the medicine to papa. To help papa Mina had to get some hot water with some ground leaves in it, Shaman puled out a cylider bone and began to chant. And after that papa woke up and Mina gave him some hot tea to drink.
