CH9: I liked how Mina would bring soup for Mama every day.
CH10: I liked how Papa used most of his money for the ox and wagon.
CH11: I liked how Papa killed the prairie chicken.
CH12: I liked how the lady was nice enough to let them stay at her house.

In chapter 13 its about how the two families are still trying to get to New Braunfels. when they stop to go to sleep Mina hears something in the trees and it was a panther. Then the next day they see ferry but the person on the other side says that they will have to wait till morning to cross the lake.

ReplyDeleteally reached the town of New Braunfels. Then they met Commissioner General Mueusebach and he told the families about the indians. The next day it was Minas birthday and on her birthday she met an indian and the indian gave Mina a birthday present.

Ch.13 One night they were camping in New Braunfels. There was something they seen and they tought it was a indian. It was a panther. It started to rain.

Chapter 14-They paid a ferrymanto get them through the hill. Papa said"We need to buy our wagon because this one is old. Mina started to get nervse because of indains. They had soldiers to fight the indains. When Mina woke up the next day it was her birthday. Mina saw a indain and the indain wanted Mina's hair.
ReplyDeleteChapter 15-Mina said to Papa"It looks like Germany." Mina was happy. Mina saw indains and they started to fight. Mina saw the indains that were in chapter14. Mina didn't know that she was friends with a chief. The soldiers came to be friends with the indains.
Chapter 16-Mina and Papa were building a house. Everyone was laughing at Papa because he poured the bucket over his head. They think they need a milk cow but Papa said no. Mina's throat started to fell bad.
